About Slimming Revolution

Slimming Revolution is a curvy girl romance about Claire Grant, the wife of a billionaire heir whose family treated her body as a liability. When she stops cooperating, her transformation shakes high society and the Harrison empire, and she has to decide what love means without being owned.

This curvy girl romance is about a woman who stopped asking permission to exist. Claire Grant spent years learning how to be acceptable as the wife of a powerful billionaire heir. She smiled when expected, endured when required and shrank when necessary, in a family that treated her body like a liability to manage.

Then she stops cooperating. Her transformation shakes high society and sets off a power struggle that exposes the cracks in the Harrison empire.

Ten million dollars is offered to make her disappear. Her fertility becomes leverage. Her husband begins to confront the man he has been, while another man offers her peace without possession.

Claire has to choose between staying small and protected or standing tall and risking everything. The transformation here is internal, and the empire is the one that has to adjust.

Chapter 1: The Bride No One Wanted

No one ever said it out loud—but everyone in the room was thinking it.

A hundred million dollars.

That was the number floating through the cathedral like incense, whispered behind silk fans and diamond-studded fingers, murmured between men in tailored suits and women dressed like royalty. A hundred million dollars spent on a wedding for a daughter no one had ever seen.

“I heard the Grant family spent over a hundred million on this marriage.”

“Well, they’d have to. To marry into the Harrison family? That’s the price of royalty.”

“Do you think she’s ugly?”

The word slithered easily between lips, sharp and amused.

Declan Harrison stood at the altar, hands clasped behind his back, posture flawless, expression unreadable. His tailored tuxedo fit him like it had been sewn directly onto his body—black, severe, immaculate. The heir to the Royal Group. The man every woman in the room had once imagined herself marrying.

Except today, he was marrying someone else.

Someone unseen.

Someone hidden.

Someone rumored to be… unfortunate.

The pews were filled with power. Old money and new, corporate sharks and political elites, socialites who measured worth in net assets and waistlines. Every whisper drifted toward the same subject.

The bride.

“No one’s even seen her face,” a woman murmured, lips curling. “Not even Declan.”

“Well, it is an arranged marriage.”

“Still. Wouldn’t you at least want to know what your future wife looks like?”

Someone laughed softly. “If they’ve kept her hidden this long, she must be hideous.”

Declan’s jaw tightened almost imperceptibly.

He had asked no questions. Had made no objections. The marriage contract had been negotiated long before today, the merger sealed with signatures and stock transfers. Love was never part of the deal. Neither was attraction.

But curiosity—yes. He had felt that.

What kind of woman required this much secrecy?

“She dropped out of Juilliard, didn’t she?”

“I heard she’s sick. Frail. Could barely walk.”

“Frail?” another scoffed. “Then why all this fabric?”

The doors at the back of the cathedral remained closed.

Behind them, chaos unfolded in silence.

“Pull—just a little more!”

“I am pulling!”

Fabric strained. Breath hitched.

Claire Grant stood on a raised platform, hands gripping the edge of a dressing table as three attendants struggled behind her, fingers white as they tugged at the corset laces of her wedding gown.

“Miss, please—if you could just breathe out.”

“I am breathing.”

Her voice was steady, but there was a tremor beneath it. Not panic. Not fear.

Humiliation.

“One, two, three—hold your breath!”

The corset tightened another inch. Claire’s reflection stared back at her from the mirror: a woman swathed in ivory silk and lace, cheeks flushed, dark eyes bright with unshed fury. Her hair had been styled perfectly, swept into an elegant updo that exposed the curve of her neck.

She looked beautiful.

And she knew it wouldn’t matter.

“Okay,” one attendant said finally, breathless. “That’s as far as it’ll go.”

Another frowned. “You’ll need to reduce your waist at least thirty percent for this style to sit properly.”

Thirty percent.

Claire smiled faintly at her reflection.

“That’s fine,” she said. “Let’s go.”

The doors opened.

A hush swept through the cathedral as the music rose.

Heads turned. Whispers sharpened.

“She’s coming.”

“This is it.”

Declan lifted his gaze.

For a split second, the world tilted.

The woman walking down the aisle was not frail.

She was not hidden.

She was not small.

She moved with quiet dignity, her steps measured, her spine straight despite the weight of the gown and the eyes boring into her from every direction. Ivory silk flowed around her like a tide, the fabric generous, opulent—unapologetic.

And she was… big.

Not in the way tabloids softened with euphemisms. Not in the way pity pretended was beauty.

She was visibly, undeniably overweight.

The whispers erupted like sparks hitting oil.

“Oh my god.”

“Is that…?”

“She’s enormous.”

“A beached whale.”

Declan felt the word land like a slap.

Someone snorted. “I thought they said Disney princess, not Fiona.”

Laughter—thin, cruel—rippled through the pews.

Claire heard every word.

She did not flinch.

Her gaze stayed forward, fixed on the altar. On Declan.

On the man who would be her husband.

Up close, his beauty was almost unfair. Sharp features. Cold eyes. A face carved for magazine covers and boardrooms. He looked at her the way one might look at an unexpected obstacle—briefly, distantly, already calculating how to step around it.

No warmth.

No curiosity.

Certainly no desire.

Her heart clenched anyway.

My husband, she thought.

She reached the altar.

The officiant cleared his throat, voice echoing through the cathedral. “We are gathered here today—”

“Enough,” a sharp voice cut in.

Emily Harrison rose from her seat, heels clicking as she stepped into the aisle. Declan’s younger sister. Impeccably dressed. Beautiful in a way that fit magazines and expectations.

Her eyes raked over Claire with open disgust.

“This is humiliating,” Emily said loudly. “She’s a disgrace to the Harrison family.”

Gasps scattered like shattered glass.

Claire’s fingers tightened around her bouquet.

“Emily,” someone hissed. “The ceremony hasn’t even started.”

Emily laughed. “Why bother? Look at them together. Declan is so far out of her league it’s embarrassing.”

She turned directly to Claire.

“If you’re going to be that fat and ugly,” she sneered, “you should at least have some manners.”

The silence that followed was absolute.

Claire lifted her chin.

“Excuse me for a moment,” she said calmly.

Emily scoffed. “What—are you going to cry?”

Claire stepped forward.

“Do you want to see what a real temper looks like?”

Before anyone could react, Claire’s hand came up.

Smack.

The sound echoed through the cathedral.

Emily staggered back, hand flying to her cheek.

“What did you just—”

“I can lose weight anytime I want,” Claire said evenly, her voice carrying. “But insects can’t become people. Can they?”

A stunned beat.

Then chaos.

“Did she just—”

“How dare she!”

Declan turned sharply. “Claire.”

She met his gaze.

“Anyone else want to go at me?” she asked, eyes blazing.

No one moved.

The officiant swallowed. “Shall we… begin?”

The vows were recited mechanically.

Declan hesitated.

“I…” His voice faltered, just once.

The pause stretched.

“Declan,” the officiant prompted. “Do you take Miss Claire Grant to be your lawful wedded wife?”

A hundred million dollars.

A merger.

A contract.

“Yes,” Declan said finally.

Claire didn’t hesitate.

“Yes,” she said clearly. “I promise to honor, cherish, and love Declan Harrison until death do us apart.”

The rings were brought forward.

Declan slid his onto her finger.

It stopped halfway.

“It doesn’t fit,” someone whispered.

Claire’s smile never wavered. “It’s fine.”

She tried to push it down.

It wouldn’t budge.

“I must wear it,” she said softly. “You gave it to me.”

Declan’s patience snapped. “Just give it up already.”

“I plan to cherish it,” she replied. “Can you help me?”

He stepped back.

“I have work,” he said curtly. “I’m heading to the office.”

The officiant forced a smile. “You may kiss the bride.”

The crowd leaned forward, chanting softly. “Kiss, kiss—”

Declan leaned in.

Barely brushed her cheek.

Then he was gone.

The doors closed behind him.

Claire stood alone at the altar, ring looped onto a thin chain around her neck, resting over her heart.

She inhaled slowly.

This is just the beginning, she told herself.

And somewhere beneath the humiliation, beneath the whispers and laughter and cruelty, something fierce began to stir.

A revolution.

Quiet.

Patient.

Unforgiving.
