Privacy policy
We collect as little as possible: your email address if you join our list, plus anonymous statistics about how the site is used. We don't sell your data and we don't use advertising trackers.

Who we are
This site, hotdramabooks.com, is run by Hot Drama Books ("we", "us"). For any privacy question or request, email hello@hotdramabooks.com.
Email signups
When you enter your email address in a signup form, we store it with the date and the page you signed up from, and send you one confirmation email. You join our mailing list only after you click the confirmation link (double opt-in). We use your address to send new releases and exclusive chapters, and nothing else.
Signup records are stored with Cloudflare (our hosting provider). Confirmed subscribers are stored with Resend, the service that sends our emails. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing deletes your address from our list and our signup records. If you never confirm, you won't receive marketing emails.
Our legal basis for emailing you is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't use cookies or fingerprinting and doesn't track you across other sites. When you click a "Get the book" button we add one to a daily counter for that book and store. That count contains no personal information.
Like every website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse (for example, limiting repeated signup attempts). We don't use that data to identify you.
Cookies
This site doesn't set cookies of its own.
Links to stores
Buy buttons take you to Books2Read, Amazon or other stores. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and what you do there is governed by them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the UK, the EU or California), you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it or receive a copy. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site and our books are intended for adult readers. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
